George Sanderson,[1] better known as Mr. Sanderson, is the father of Jenny Sanderson and the husband of Helen Sanderson. He bought a Chibi-Robo for Jenny's birthday, making Mrs. Sanderson angry since he had just lost his job and they didn't have much money. He also buys lots of toys despite being an adult and being in between jobs, with a special love for Drake Redcrest.

Mr. Sanderson tends to have a childlike behavior and is very lazy. He has shown to have a slight fear of his wife due to the fact that she was angry with him. Despite his behavior, he deeply cares for his family and tends to be protective of them.

Chibi-Robo! Plug Into Adventure!

Because he admired George "Joy" Ebisu, he originally wanted to work for Citrusoft Robotics but was unfortunately denied. As a result, he joined Citrusoft's rival company, Macroware Robotics, Inc. instead. While working for Macroware Robotics, George Sanderson created the Spydorz which he designed to be friends with Chibi-Robo. Macroware Robotics, Inc., used them for evil doings, so he retired in response.[2] Later in the game, his whole family is attacked by Spydorz and it's up to their Chibi-Robo to save them. At the end of the game, George gets a job at Citrusoft.

Okaeri! Chibi-Robo! Happy Richie Ōsōji!

George Sanderson does not appear in the game, but is mentioned by Telly. Between the events of Chibi-Robo! Plug Into Adventure! and Okaeri! Chibi-Robo! Happy Richie Ōsōji!, Mr. Sanderson was hired by Citrusoft and invented trash cans that generate House-Watts to combat the energy crisis caused by Chibi-Robos.[3]

  • George used to be a drummer in a band called Rainbow Water (レインボー・ウォーター) where he was a drummer. This is how he met his future wife.[4]
  • George appears in the opening of all three Chibi-Toons.[5]

  2. Nishi: Ebisu is a legendary developer, and because Mr. Sanderson admires him, he tries to get employed at Citrusoft, but fails. So he joins their rival company, Macroware instead, and creates robots called Spydorz which were designed to be friends with Chibi-Robo. But the executives wanted to destroy the super popular Chibi-Robo, so they customized Spydorz into evil robots, and spread them out into the world. Mr. Sanderson couldn’t forgive this act, and this caused him to have a feud with the company, resulting in him refusing to go to work. - Happy Book, page 10
